The School of Philosophy, Theology and Religion is committed to delivering the highest level of excellence in our teaching. We offer an an array of options at the postgraduate level, in both taught and research formats, with the aim of catering for your individual needs.

The Department of Philosophy is home to an expanding, energetic and friendly community of philosophers, with expertise in all core areas of philosophy and in a number of speciality areas. This enables us to provide teaching and supervision in traditional subjects as well as in a variety of topical and interdisciplinary areas.

Our Department of Theology and Religion is one of the most comprehensive in Britain, and we offer a variety of forward-thinking postgraduate programmes and research opportunities. The knowledge and expertise of our academic staff provides variety and depth of study and encourages multidisciplinary research and postgraduate study across the fields of theology and religion.
