Event Information

Join Dr Rajesh Chitnes, Director of Postgraduate Taught Admissions for an overview of studying one of our MSc’s in the School of Computer Science. Find out more about our range of MSc programmes, and talk to our current MSc student ambassadors about life as a postgraduate computer science student.

We offer six MSc programmes within the department, two of which are specifically ‘conversion’ programmes for graduates who hold a degree in any other subject other than computing, who want to gain an education in computer science.  Our MSc Computer Science requires just an undergraduate degree in any other subject (2:1 Honours or international equivalent), whilst our MSc Data Science requires an undergraduate degree in any other subject (2:1 Honours or international equivalent), and evidence of Grade A in A Level Mathematics or higher (or international equivalent).

We also offer MSc’s in Advanced Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Cyber Security and Human Computer Interaction.  These MSc’s require a related degree (2:1 Honours or international equivalent), and are more ‘specialist’ and are aimed at computer science graduates wishing to advance in a particular area.

You can find out more about the programmes, including admissions requirements here.
