Tell us about yourself and your journey to postgraduate study.

I was an undergraduate student at Birmingham Newman University studying Working with Children, Young People and Families. I graduated in 2023. I chose the University of Birmingham (UOB) to study my postgraduate course because it has many opportunities, and my lecturers are very accessible, as I was talking to my specialist lead before I became a student at UOB. Lastly, it is the best university in Birmingham, and that’s why I also chose to study here.

What was your motivation for postgraduate study?

My motivation was to specialise in Autism and have a higher pay grade after studying. And also to make a difference with students in higher education so that I can support them in the future.
