Currently excelling as a Student Representative for the School of Psychology and a Postgraduate Ambassador at the prestigious University of Birmingham. These roles enable me to contribute actively to enhancing student experiences while representing and promoting academic excellence. Tell us about yourself and your journey to postgraduate study.

I am currently pursuing an MSc in Psychology at the University of Birmingham, building upon my foundation in the field after completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. My academic journey has been driven by a profound curiosity to understand the complexities of human behaviour and cognition. Throughout my academic journey, I’ve explored various facets of psychology, including cognitive, social, and developmental psychology. I’ve engaged in practical applications and research projects, fostering a deeper comprehension of psychological theories and their real-world implications.

Beyond academia, I’ve actively volunteered and undertaken internships, applying psychological principles to diverse settings. I am committed to making a positive impact in the field, aiming to contribute through potential research endeavours or clinical practice.

What was your motivation for postgraduate study?

My motivation for pursuing postgraduate study, specifically an MSc in Psychology at the University of Birmingham, is to deepen my knowledge and expertise in psychology, advance my career opportunities, specialize in a particular area of interest within the field, and prepare for professional roles or further research in psychology.
