If someone is interested in a career in film or TV I would definitely recommend the bootcamp, as it is lead by industry professionals who are able to give you first hand experience.

Tell us about yourself and your journey to studying a Skills Bootcamp.
Before completing the bootcamp, I had no experience. During the 6 weeks I gained a lot of experience along with confidence. After my placement on Phoenix rise, they asked me to come back for extra work, and this helped me to get my foot in the door of the TV industry.
Why did you choose to study a Skills Bootcamp at the University of Birmingham?
I was interested in the industry, but I didn’t have a way in so I thought I’d gain good experience along with connections through the course.
