Past Questions

  1. How is the study conducted during the Covid 19 pandemic?

At the time of writing this, my studies are online-only on Zoom. But last semester, it was bimodal teaching - so a blend of in-person seminars and online lectures. It depends on the current UK government guidelines!

    Hope this helps, Nach

  2. What was your motivation for undertaking postgraduate study?

I'm a lifelong learner and during my undergraduate degree, I was extremely interested in marketing and invested my free time into learning about the field through online courses, jobs and internships. However, I felt that I needed an extra push that would accelerate and deepen my understanding of marketing, which was why I decided that postgraduate study was a perfect choice.

  3. What, for you, are the best things about the course?

The course is very diverse - people from who walks of life are studying MSc Marketing, which makes collaboration and discussion productive and exciting. I also really enjoy that the course is inter-disciplinary - in modules like Consumer Behaviour, you learn a lot about psychology and sociology. No module is the same, which makes it extremely interesting!

  4. What piece of advice would you give to anyone considering postgraduate study in your field?

Marketing is an extremely broad field. Many people who are interested in marketing may have had some work experience in social media, content writing, etc., like myself. The MSc Marketing course, however, will make you realise that there is so much more to marketing than what people see (like tweets, ads or articles). Be prepared to engage with theory and strategy!
