I have used Careers Network. I am working towards Postgraduate Professional Development Award (PPDA) which keeps me motivated to participate in professional development events and workshops.

What are your career goals after graduating?

After graduating I aspire to work in roles such as health policy analyst, medical analyst, medical writer, or research assistant.

Tell us about the teaching environment and lecturers on your course.

The teaching environment has been interactive and highly engaging. As well as lectures, there were small group discussions, hands-on projects, and interactive simulations in some modules.

Tell us how the course has helped you to develop your skills for your current/future career.

The assignments were mostly based on real world public health issues which provided me with the opportunity to develop my critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Analysing real-world data, identifying patterns, and proposing evidence-based solutions have developed my ability to assess and respond to public health challenges.

What are the best things about your course?

The opportunity to learn from experienced faculty members and communicate and collaborate with my course mates who are from diverse background enhances the overall learning experience. The modules on related to research methods and the emphasis on critical thinking helps to create a better understanding of public health issues and solutions.

Why did you choose to study your current course?

After two years of clinical experience, I understood the importance of public health. I chose to pursue Master of Public Health as it equips me with the knowledge and skills to address public health challenges effectively, aligning perfectly with my career goals and aspirations for creating meaningful change in society.
