What has been your biggest achievement during your course so far?

Starting a postgraduate program in an unfamiliar field and nation where your native tongue is not spoken might be somewhat daunting. I’m studying advanced engineering management in the UK right now. Despite being away from my family and friends and experiencing a diverse school environment and culture, I was still able to maintain my studies.

What are the best things about your course?

The program is designed to bridge the gap between technical engineering knowledge and managerial skills, providing a well-rounded education that is applicable in both engineering and business contexts. Completing an MSc in Advanced Engineering Management can enhance my career prospects, opening doors to higher-level positions and increased responsibilities within the engineering and business sector.

Tell us about yourself and your journey to postgraduate study.

I’m Arshad Nadeem from India. Currently, I am doing MSc in Advanced Engineering Management. After completing my undergraduate studies, I worked in a BPO company, where I gained experience in resolving client queries complaints proactively. My interest in Management field has grown as a result of this practical experience, and I am more driven to pursue Masters in University of Birmingham.

What was your motivation for postgraduate study?

I consider the postgraduate program to be an essential step in helping me advance in the engineering industry. My career goals are in line with the University of Birmingham’s wide curriculum and industry-focused approach.
